• This morning I printed my first plane on to tissue paper
    • Happy with it for first attempt
    • Doesn’t fly great
    • Hard to throw due to design
  • I want to design another now
    • Wing printed in two parts
      • Each wing 25cm in length, making the new one much bigger
      • Will keep the span size, lowering the aspect ratio ALOT
    • Use a rod from a kite to hold tail on
    • Tail will be two parts this time, proper vertical and horizontal sections
    • I have printed out a bunch of cubes with holes
      • The point of this is to find the ideal hole size that’ll fit the rod I have
        • ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
      • I’ve worked out that the ideal size is somewhere between 3.5mm and 3.0mm
      • Doing a last print now hopefully.
      • Results are in!
        • 3.25mm is the diameter for when the hole is printed flat
        • 3.5mm is the diameter for when the hole is printed vertically
        • I wonder if that’s a printer issue, or a side effect from printing layers
        • I also wonder if print layer height would affect it, I would imagine it would
